I’m so excited to share this shoot with you! About a month ago, on a visit to Albuquerque, New Mexico, I wanted to put together a styled shoot with some of my favorite wedding vendors from back home. I immediately reached out to Genica Lee (Make-up Artist) to see if she wanted to help. She was super excited about it and immediately got Teresa Romero (Dress Designer) and Jen Busick (Floral Design) on board. I called my friend Matt Timmons (Model Management) to see if he had any models that would be interested in the shoot, and he set us up with Evan and Dani, they were perfect! We went to Izzy Martin where Rufus helped us find the perfect outfit for Evan. The place is a really amazing mens store! The day after, we headed out to the Petroglyph National Monument right outside of town, check it out if you haven’t been! Although we had super harsh light, we were able to find some shade and get some really fun images. My good friend and fellow photographer David Goldman came to assist, and was a huge help! At the end of the shoot, we ended up on top of one of the dormant volcanoes. I wasn’t “entirely aware” that this was against the rules, but that was made very clear when the ranger drove up and gave me a citation. Whoops! Well, it was completely worth it.

Last thing – We decided a few months ago that we are moving back to Albuquerque. Although life is really amazing in the Northwest, we just really miss family, culture, clients, etc etc. We couldn’t be more excited to head home. PS, if you’re a client – don’t worry, nothing about your wedding will change, I will be there no matter where it is!
